I was born and raised in Warsaw in Poland some many years ago:) My adventure with photography started at a very young age when I received my first camera when I was 8 years old. It was a fully manual Russian camera, a very challenging tool to use, but it taught me the foundation of photography at a pretty young age. Not to mention it was of course a film camera so trial-and-error approach we use so much nowadays. I was also fascinated watching my dad work endless hours in his darkroom to produce beautiful and magical portrait photos. I always aspired to be like my dad…
I continued photographing through high school, college, and of course now my professional years. After many years working with black & white photography and spending half of my life in darkrooms, I moved to digital photography over 10 years ago. I’m so glad I did it so early.
I have three passions in my life – photography, traveling, and sailing. On many occasions I am able to combine my three passions and go sailing abroad while photographing. My true love, however, is to interact with and photograph people, especially during those happiest moments in everybody’s life – faling in love, getting married, and celebrating the joys of family.
