Few days ago I had a pleasure to photograph our local R&B singer Anita Oak. Anita is coming up with a new CD . We met on a Sunday afternoon to shoot some photos to be used on the cover of her new CD. It was a pretty windy day in Chicago so setting up the light was pretty challenging. My lastolite ezybox was trying to fly away so we had to use some serious tape to keep it attached to a fence:) A total McGyver of photography!
The photos turned out really nice and I am super excited to share them with you. Anita has the amazing Indian beauty so it was hard not to get beautiful photos of her!...

Last weekend I had a pleasure to be taught advanced high end retouching techniques by Solstice Retouch. Solstice, based in New York, is one of the best retouchers I know. Few weeks ago my good friend Chrissie, who is a great waiter at the Tilted Kilt Chicago, asked me to take some portrait photos of her. Chrissie wanted to be considered for the 2012 Tilted Kilt Calendar. Since we didn't have too much time before submissions were due we quickly schedule a session in my studio.
