Few days ago I had a pleasure to photograph our local R&B singer Anita Oak. Anita is coming up with a new CD . We met on a Sunday afternoon to shoot some photos to be used on the cover of her new CD. It was a pretty windy day in Chicago so setting up the light was pretty challenging. My lastolite ezybox was trying to fly away so we had to use some serious tape to keep it attached to a fence:) A total McGyver of photography!
The photos turned out really nice and I am super excited to share them with you. Anita has the amazing Indian beauty so it was hard not to get beautiful photos of her!...

Many of my clients ask me what exactly is a detail retouch. So I thought I would post few photos to show before and after a high-end detail retouch of few photos from a studio session I did last year. Detail retouch is a totally manual job to get the absolutely best results. There is no bullet proof method to automate the process as every photo is slightly different plus it really depends on the vision of the photographer and/or retoucher.
