One of nice ideas for Save-The-Date cards for weddings is to print them on fridge magnets. Those cards still reproduce color super nicely, come in a variety of shapes and sizes, but most importantly wedding guests can put them on the fridge to remember about the upcoming wedding.
In the Save-The-Date cards that I create for my clients I also include their website address. This is a custom website that I create where we can include information about the couple (how they met, what they like, etc), the wedding party, wedding ceremony and reception, accommodation, etc

For those that know me personally, you know that I am often artistically chaotic or in other words disordered:) But I am aware of it so I continuously try to fight it. One way to get more organized is to have a wedding photographer checklist before photographing a wedding. I am always paranoid that I will forget something so ended up putting together a checklist for myself so I knew I didn't forget anything. Since many of us should use it as well but we are too busy to create one I thought I would share mine with everybody. So here it is. Feel free to share it with others, forward the link etc.

Last year I had a pleasure to photograph a wedding of Georgene and Neil. Georgene and Neil live in California but the beautiful bride was from Chicago. The wedding ceremony tool place in Chicago's Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral. I absolutely love orthodox churches and our own orthodox cathedral is truly breath taking as well. The wedding reception was in equally beautiful Country Squire Banquets in Grayslake.
