Katherine and Mitali had a very unique Chicago same sex wedding. They incorporated both Indian and western cultures into their wedding day. It was fun that they got ready together and for the ceremony they both wore saris. After their ceremony they took a little break back in their room and then began getting ready for the second part. Mitali changed into a beautiful white saris and Katherine put on a gorgeous white wedding dress. For the second part since they were changing their outfits they decided to have a first look (which we are absolutely for). The first look was epic and took place at theWit rooftop with a dramatic sky above the skyline view. Even though they already had their ceremony and have seen each other, it was still an emotional moment and one of the few seconds they had by themselves on their wedding day. One of the most emotional moments for us was during the reception when both Katherine's and Mitali's fathers were giving speeches. When people open up their hearts during a speech is one of the most emotional things I can witness and get tears too.
The Chicago same sex wedding was photographed by both Yaneck & Marcin.
