Here is our latest Chicago wedding photography from Natalia and Michal's wedding:
He was standing at the end of the stair case with his back turned away from the stairs. His heart was beating fast and he had a big smile on his face. She was walking down the stairs anxious to see her soon-to-be-husband. She gets to the bottom of the stairs and he anxiously turns around before she can tap him on the shoulder; awed by his gorgeous soon-to-be-wife they share their first kiss of the day. Before they could go to their ceremony and exchange vow's, Natalia and Michal needed to get a blessing from both of their parents. After receiving the blessing they stepped outside to a gorgeous Vintage car – a cream colored Rolls Royce and drove away to get married!
Natalia and Michal had a classy wedding with some traditional yet modern additions. We think it was really cool that they had a highlander band following them all throughout their wedding day and performing fun folkloric music. After their wedding ceremony all of the guests had a lunch break at the church with some traditional delicious polish food. Of course our favorite were the pierogi's:) We tried hard but we could not resist them! After the lunch break the bridal party got into a huge party bus and we met up with them at a beautiful park where we had their portrait session. We must say that they had a veeeeeery big and very fun bridal party!
Their reception was at Royalty West in Willow Springs. Besides tons of super yummy food, the highlight of course was the homemade pear and plum vodka. Before a guest could enter the reception hall, they had to take a shot of the vodka waiting for them at the door. At every table they had a bottle of the homemade vodka with their engagement photo from the Chicago Engagement Photography Session at art institute on it. Each guest received a small champaign bottle also with a photo from their engagement session and the date of their wedding. Over all the reception hall was amazing with very nice lighting detail. Also, they had a huge desert table and a sausage stand.
After Natalia and Michal's first dance when the guests were invited on the dance floor, it got wild! For the whole night almost everyone was on the dance floor and they were dancing at super speeds to super fast songs. Our Canon 1Dx and 5DMiii cameras worked at their peak:) It was kind of traditional and definitely cool. Most important was that Natalia and Michal enjoyed their wedding and they had a good time on the dance floor as well…check out the pictures for proof:)
