Sarah's and Richard's destination wedding in Manhattan.
It feels like we have been around the world with Sarah and Richard. Sarah and Richard live in London and we met with them last year to photograph their Parisian engagement session. A few months later we were in Manhattan capturing Sarah's and Richard's special day.
Sarah started her morning getting ready with her bridesmaids at a very unique Hotel that was a former printing house – Ink48. The views of Manhattan from here room were incredible.
The ceremony was on the roof top of Studio 450 and had unique a view of the Empire State Building in the background. Their ceremony was perfect. It was labor day weekend and it was supposed to rain. As soon as Sarah began walking down the aisle, the skies cleared up making it the perfect weather for an outdoor ceremony.
After their ceremony we went down to the meat packing district where we got to capture the true city feel with yellow taxi cabs in the background.
Their reception was at Studio 450. The sun had already set, the candles were lit on the tables and the dance floor was gently lit by the city lights surrounding it. It was the perfect Manhattan wedding.
We hope you enjoy their destination wedding. If you or someone you know s looking for a Chicago wedding photographer to photograph the memorable wedding moments, we would love to hear from you!
