A few weeks ago we had an outdoor Illinois engagement photography session with Shannon and Keith. Here is their story:
On their trip to Mexico, Keith proposed to Shannon on top of one of the seven man made wonders of the world – Teotihuacan. Of course she said ‘yes’ and on their super step climb down she was distracted from the height of the pyramid admiring her ring.
Shannon and Keith both were raised in Wauconda, Illinois. Shannon admits that she noticed Keith at a very young age (Keith doesn’t recall Shannon even though she was friends with his sister). Keith is a few years younger than Shannon and we believe he has a lot of patience because, when Shannon turned 21 and was able to go to bars Keith (being underage) was the designated driver with both driving to and from the bar!
We had such a fun time with Shannon and Keith at Glacial Park for their engagement session. They love the outdoors and hiking which made this park a perfect fit to have an outdoor Illinois engagement photography session. They even brought some fun props like: 2 Butterfly kites, flowers tied with a vintage bow and sneakers for Shannon to switch from her heels when it comes time to fly a kite. There was a bit of drama when it came down to flying the kites…there was simply no wind. Keith was very upset because on the box from the kite it said that it’s ‘able to fly in any conditions’. With great team work Shannon and Keith were running through the fields ultra fast making the kites lift half way off the ground!
They are honestly a very cool laid back couple with an awesome sense of humor. Their wedding is in the beginning of September at Bull Valley Country Club and we are counting down the days!
