This is a very special blog post for us! The Ponte Winery Temecula Wedding is our first wedding that we had the honor to photograph in California after officially moving down here. This is the first out of two blog posts from Erin and Scott's wedding.
Ponte Winery Ceremony
Erin and Scott love the views and landscape of Ponte Winery. That is the main reason they wanted to get married there and share the experience with their close friends and family. The wedding was on Memorial Day, which was extra meaningful because Scott along with all of his groomsmen have all served for our country. Check out the uniforms they wore for the ceremony. Erin's and Scott's two beautiful children Luke and Karina got to be part of the wedding too. We adore the matching Marine outfit Luke got to wear to match his father.
Fate Brought Them Together
We are in love with how they got to meet each other for the first time. It's truly a scene out of a movie. Their first encounter with each other was truly serendipitous. Fate brought them together at an airport. Erin caught Scott's attention as she was battling with her over packed luggage. They began talking and the connection was instant. Even though they were not traveling to the same destination, they made it a point to stay in touch. Before officially dating, they had a good and strong friendship.
When Erin was walking down the aisle with her Father, Scott's reaction was so genuine and we are happy we captured that moment. One of our favorite memories of the first part of their wedding was their vows to one another. Erin and Scott wrote their own vows to say and it was beautiful. We were all in tears along with them.
After their ceremony, a beautiful big horse carriage with a dreamy white horse was waiting for them at the entrance of Ponte Winery. Erin and Scott made extra time to make sure they got the beautiful and dramatic wedding portraits they appreciate.
