Few days ago we had a pleasure to have a Chicago portrait photography session with our local R&B singer Anita Oak. Anita is coming up with a new CD later this year. We met on a Sunday afternoon to shoot this Chicago portrait photography session to produce some photos to be used on the cover of her new CD. It was a pretty windy day in Chicago so setting up the light was pretty challenging. My lastolite ezybox was trying to fly away so we had to use some serious tape to keep it attached to a fence:) A total McGyver of photography!
We first started around Oak Street (given Anita's last name) but with all the crowd we decided it was better to move to another location. We tried few other locations but the best one turned out to by a park on Clark just south of Division. It was definitely less windy there and we didn't have to jump through hoops to avoid people in the background.
We think the photos turned out really nice and are super excited to share them with you on our blog. Anita has the amazing Indian beauty so it was hard not to get beautiful photos of her! Wouldn't you agree:) Now we can't wait when our photos will be used on Anita's CD cover.
As always, we love comments (below) and feel free to share the photos however you would like.
