Early July this year I had an amazing pleasure to photograph an Europe destination wedding in Warsaw, Poland. I am originally from Warsaw so photographing a wedding there had even more meaning to me. Chris & Gosia are both from Poland but met in New York City few years ago where they both lived. They are such a fun couple but most importantly they are obsessed with traveling:) One can hardly list a place they haven't been to yet. So after dating for some time in New York City they decided to move to Miami. After Miami they decided to move back to Poland to start a family there. The funny part is that they are already thinking of their next move… Australian, South America, or maybe Singapore. Who knows…
This Europe destination wedding was so much fun and truly international! There were people from 15 countries representing 22 nationalities! But it could not have been it differently as Chris & Gosia lived in Denmark, Spain, France, England, U.S. and I am sure few other countries that I am not aware of:) The wedding was in Warsaw's Old Town, the historic place of the beautiful capital of Poland. As you can see it was a beautiful sunny and hot day in July. As much as I love summer sunny mid-days are a true challenge for photographers because of harsh sun-light, dark shadows, etc, not to eye squinting:) but there are ways to make beautiful photos even in such conditions thanks to what Jerry Ghionis (one of the most famous and best wedding photographers in the world) taught me this year.
Another fun part about this wedding was that it was my first chance to photograph with brother-in-law. Michal is Warsaw local wedding photographer so it was so much fun to work together.
I hope you enjoy the photos:) Comment & emails are always so welcome!
