It’s time to say goodbye to Paris… and welcome to Budapest
So after a week in Paris where I spent wonderful Christmas with my family it's time to say goodbye to Paris. Weather in Paris was unusually cold, i.e. 25F and plenty of snow but I was able to make few trips to Paris to photograph some of its beauty. I posted few photos in my previous post and and below are few more that I was able to quickly post process. Yes, I am at the airport now waiting for my flight to Budapest. I am supposed to meet there the one and only Viki Moon. She is my wonderful friend besides being a great stylist, make-up artist, and hair stylist – a woman of many talents. I know that Viki has a shoot with Dolce & Gabana today and we have a photo session schedule for tomorrow. I will be so much fun to photograph in Budapest.
And now few thoughts about Paris… it's a beautiful city, the most romantic place on earth, fantastic food especially wine, cheese, yogurts, dry sausages, and whatever else the French cuisine can offer. However, few things still surprise me. For example the unawareness that sals melts ice and snow:) The results is that street and sidewalks are true ice skating rings. I was shocked that I didn't see more people with broken arms and legs. And then customer service in stores. I was buying today a jacket and a pair of jeans and people in the store literally run into me but it didn't cross their mind that they could help me find my size. Oh well, every place has its pros and cons, another proof there is no such thing as a perfect place:) Though Paris is pretty close to it!
